Operation
The Undersearch coil is designed to be able
to fit underneath the conveyor, and is shaped to take the form of standard
troughed belts. It therefore does not require the cutting and
re-vulcanising of the belt when being installed.
It
is suitable for installation where the burden on the conveyor is not too
high as the sensitivity decreases the further the metal is from the coil
surface.
Easy to service or replace due to on site damage. Available in sizes from
600-2200mm.
Construction
The detector frame is constructed from
fiberglass which ensures that the unit is robust and durable and will not
deteriorate with time.
